How uplifting your piece was. God certainly has bigger shoulders than any one person. Handing over to God any problem or thing is probably the most difficult thing to do. It means giving up control of the problem or person. But more importantly, it means giving up a piece of yourself.

If one does it enough times, our burdens are lightened and we seem to find more room for the good things in life. I have been truly blessed in being able to release my personal burdens.

Kathleen, thank you for visiting my blog and for taking the time to leave a comment. If we can learn to let go and let God, so many of our burdens would be lightened. I'm glad that you have done this. Please visit again!

Are you from Minnesota?

i really needed to read this. my ex and i have been seperated for about a month now and we were together for 6 yrs. he was too controlling and almost everyday he was upset with me b/c i was not who HE wanted me to be and kept trying to force me to change. it is hard letting go, but he hangs with the wrong crowd and it's tearing him apart and he does not understand that it is why he is so unhappy with life right now. i love him dearly, but he is toxic for me and he does not realize he has hurt me over a long period of time and i hope that one day God will help his heart and he can find true happiness.

How I have to fall on my knees to cry out to our Lord Jesus and Mama Mary

woow! I needed to read this, after an abusive ex boyfriend of 6 years looked for me on Fcebook, now I am happily married for 10 years to a good man, and such sick person is looking for something that I can not give him anymore. Still single and bitter with life. I really hope that God heals him and helps him and guide him to find happiness and peace within himself.
