very well defined of addiction....you have the nice post...

I am a successful electronics engineering consultant with a wonderful wife and three grown kids. I own property, horses, have investments and a great future retirement in our dream home in the next few years. That was until a month ago. While on an out of town contract I succumbed to the temptation of crack cocaine. Now, Im broke, out of a job, have lost my car and in a couple of days will be on the street. My wife at home has no idea what is going on as I have been painting an ever more difficult illusion that all is ok out here. I have tried everything I know how to quit.. but sadly I keep running back to the pipe.. I'm not long for this world...

There are many programs available out there to help you kick your addiction. It is up to you to sign yourself into one of them and get your life back on track. You can't hide this much longer from your family and you don't sound like someone who is ready or willing to die because of the drug addiction.
