Foiled Again!!!

My beloved Cubs were foiled again in their World Series bid.  They struggled their way through the season, but when the chips were counted, the Cubs were the winners of their division.  Excitement reigned as Cubs memorabilia was hot off the presses....T-shirts, key rings, jackets and other paraphernalia that would make the vendors rich as Cubs fans purchased their wares.  But alas, it was not meant to be.  My Cubs went down to the Arizona Razorbacks 3 in a row....3 games and, POOF! it was all over for the Cubs, the fans and the vendors...whose wares had barely been sold.  Oh well, wait until next year fills the air and we Cubs fans will be just as loyal next season, even though we have been waiting since 1945 for a pennant! We will buy the tickets, fill the stands, follow the team, eat the hot dogs and drink the beer, all because we are loyal to our Cubbies and just plain like having fun!
